Comprehensive Benefits
Franklin offers a comprehensive set of health benefits including medical and dental coverage as well as drug and vision plans.
Medical Plan
Our Medical Mutual Preferred Providers (PPO) network offers coverage with no deductible. Employees outside of Ohio receive the same benefits but utilize different PPO networks. The percentage of medical premium paid for by Franklin compares favorably to that paid by the 25 best midsized companies to work for in America.
Dental Plan
Franklin offers an excellent dental plan with a choice of providers and employee premiums about 65 percent below the average for all companies nationwide. Our orthodontic benefit will pay up to $2,800 per person to help families deal with the expense of children's (or adults) braces. 95 percent of companies pay $2,000 or less.
Prescription Drug Plan
Our drug plan is administered by Caremark and features the option of picking up 90-day refills at local CVS stores saving time and money.
Vision Plan
Our vision benefits are provided by Vision Service Plan. VSP is the winner of several customer service awards from J.D. Powers. Prescription safety glasses are convered by a company paid plan.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Our Medical Spending and Dependent/Elder care accounts provide easy access to your funds through a debit card. The tax saving from participation is 30 percent to 40 percent for most employees. Fit Center
Franklin offers a deluxe on-site fitness center staffed with certified fitness instructors for free use by employees and their families. The large fitness center has top-of-the-line treadmills, life cycles, circuit exercise equipment and free weights. A complete locker/shower room rounds out the facility. Only 16 percent of midsized companies provide on-site fitness centers. In addition to our fitness center, Franklin offers several wellness programs and an employee assistance plan.
Preventative Health
Franklin offers a variety of services to keep you in the best of health. Some of these services include: health risk assessments, annual flu shots, access to "World Doc" a medical information website and more.
