Compensation
Franklin International offers state-of-the-art compensation and benefit programs which enable us to attract, motivate and retain highly skilled, talented and top-performing employees.
Franklin's compensation is made up of a base salary or hourly rate and some form of variable pay. We believe that fair pay is the only appropriate way to compensate employees, and we work hard to make sure our practices live up to that standard. To ensure external equity, base rates are benchmarked against outside jobs using national survey data from a variety of sources. Internal equity is managed with a variety of tools including career ladders and pay grades.
Protecting Your Income
Short- and Long-Term Disability
Franklin provides Short-Term Disability income replacement benefits to all full-time employees to protect their pay during periods of personal injury or illness. Long-term protection is provided through a combination of employee- and company-paid benefits.
Optional Disability
Employees may also purchase optional coverage to replace up to 60 percent of their salary.
Life and AD&D Insurance
Franklin provides an excellent company paid life insurance plan. Individuals may also purchase additional insurance at discounted group rates.
Retirement Benefits
Pension
Franklin contributes to pension plans that do not require employee contributions for all full-time employees. Plans offered vary by employment classification.
401(k) Benefits
Franklin also offers a 401(k) plan to which employees may contribute. Employee contributions to the 401(k) plan are matched by the company. Investments are managed by Vanguard.

Tuition Benefit
You can receive 100 percent of tuition and book costs up to a maximum of $4,500 per year. Tuition can be paid in advance directly to the school so you have no upfront costs.
