Commitment to Families
Franklin supports families through a number of unique benefit programs. Our adoption program, subsidized college savings program and our college textbook subsidy are explained individually on this site. However, many hidden aspects of our benefits are family-friendly as well. Unlike most companies, Franklin pays the same percentage of the cost of family benefits as it does for single employees.
In addition, our rich life insurance benefit not only protects a family financially but also provides a tuition benefit to be sure a child does not lose the opportunity for a college education in the event of a parent’s death.
Time off Benefits
Franklin believes in and supports a work and family life balance. Time off is important for personal health and family relationships. Franklin provides vacation and holiday pay for all full-time and some part-time employees.
Adoption Benefit
You can receive paid time off and up to $10,000 toward adoption expenses. Franklin’s adoption benefit has been ranked in the top 100 nationwide for the past 12 years.
529 Matching Plan
Franklin will help fund your child's education by contributing matching funds to your 529 account. A family with two children can receive up to $10,000 in company contributions by the time the second child turns 19.
Sons & Daughters College Textbook Benefit
Your eligible dependent children can receive 50 percent reimbursement (up to $500 per employee, per year) for money paid toward college textbooks.
Teen Defensive Driving Course Subsidy
Our "Teen Defensive Driving Course Subsidy" is offered to help reduce traffic accidents. Traffic accidents are the leading cause of death among teens in the United States.
Discount on Franklin Merchandise
Franklin offers employees a discount on all wood glues, caulks and sealants purchased from the retail division.
